Maintenance Technician – Night Shift (Food Manufacturing)

Shift: Night Shift (6:00 p.m. – 6:00 am, M&T OR M&W AND every other weekend)

About the Role: We’re seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our night shift team in a fast-paced food manufacturing facility. You’ll play a key role in keeping production equipment operating safely and efficiently to support continuous, high-quality food production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on processing and packaging equipment.

  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

  • Ensure all maintenance work follows GMP, FDA, and food safety requirements.

  • Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.

  • Complete maintenance logs, work orders, and documentation accurately.

  • Collaborate with production and sanitation teams to support smooth, safe operations.

  • Participate in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of maintenance experience in a food manufacturing or similar environment.

  • Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, and control systems.

  • Experience with conveyors, pumps, motors, packaging machinery, and refrigeration a plus.

  • Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

  • Understanding of GMPs, HACCP, and food safety standards preferred.

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade certification a plus.
