A Brief OverviewThe Maintenance Technician is accountable for performing a variety of general, mechanical and preventative maintenance duties as well as inspections, repairing and moving of equipment throughout assigned facilities.
What you will do- Consults with and keeps supervisor informed on progress and any problems with assigned projects.
- Maintains all required records and pertinent information.
- Has knowledge of trends, standards, and legalities of practice and activities of department and facilities.
- Demonstrates ability to perform and finish carpentry work.
- Demonstrates ability to install sheetrock, plaster, metal studs (building materials) and perform culking.
- Demonstrates ability to install locks and other door and cabinet hardware.
- Demonstrates ability to assemble and install basic cabinetry and interpret drawings.
- Operates and maintains boilers and takes appropriate action for safe operation.

Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:- High School or GED Equivalent
- Driver's License (MN) - Minnesota Department of Public Safety Upon Hire
- Boiler Operator- Licensing Board within 180 Days
- 1-3 years experience in a related field.
