Job Overview

A Facility Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing the facilities and equipment used in the operations of a facility. They work with various tools and perform tasks such as electrical and plumbing repairs, HVAC maintenance, and equipment inspections.

Responsibilities

  • Performing routine inspections of equipment and facilities to identify and diagnose problems
  • Performing electrical repairs and maintenance
  • Performing plumbing repairs and maintenance
  • Performing HVAC maintenance and repairs
  • Performing carpentry work on buildings and equipment as required
  • Performing handyman services
  • Ensuring that all equipment and facilities are maintained according to safety regulations and standards

 

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • 5 years of experience in facility maintenance and repair

Skills

  • Good knowledge of safety regulations and standards
  • Strong mechanical and technical skills
  • Ability to use various tools and equipment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Drive Company truck to various job sites
  • Parking spot for a commercial vehicle (not on the street)

 

Working Conditions
