Job Title

Maintenance Technician

Shift

7:00 pm to 7:00 am; 2-2-3 schedule

Location

Red Oak, IA

What we are Looking For:

  • Minimum of 3 years of Industrial Maintenance 
  • Mechanical Skills and Electrical Repair Knowledge
  • Working experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical (480v), and preventive maintenance in a manufacturing  setting
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

Responsibilities:

  • Routinely perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • Must be able to read schematics and blueprints, capable of servicing and operating rectifiers, capable of operating precision hand tools, and electronic equipment.   
  • Complete work orders which will involve mechanical, electrical and/or PLC skillsets.
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment to solve problems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with peers, operators, and management.
  • Know the safety risk assessments and policies to perform work safely. Including wearing all the proper PPE for the job.
  • Follow all safety and environmental procedures.
  • Be trained to be a First Responder.
  • Requires ability to plan and layout work, determine accurate and efficient methods, diagnoses, and corrects difficulties to minimize production interruptions. 
  • May perform other duties as directed by management.
  • Ability to use computer system to update work orders.

Tools & Equipment: Required to use hand tools, dies, power fork trucks, scissor lifts, and equipment to perform normal maintenance tasks.
