A growing manufacturing company in Redford, MI is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join its first-shift maintenance team. This is a hands-on role responsible for keeping production equipment operating safely and efficiently through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.

What You'll Do
Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime
Perform welding repairs and light fabrication as needed
Install, repair, and maintain industrial manufacturing equipment
Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment
Work closely with production personnel to maximize equipment uptime
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
Complete additional maintenance tasks as assigned
What You Bring
2–5+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
Experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Electrical troubleshooting experience is required
Welding experience is required
Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance requests in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience maintaining forging, stamping, or heavy press equipment is a plus
What's Offered
$27.00–$31.00/hour based on experience
Monday–Friday 1st Shift (6:00 AM–4:30 PM)
