Industrial Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on production equipment and facility systems.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, and automation issues to maximize equipment uptime and production efficiency.
Manage work orders, parts requests, and inventory through maintenance software.
Support continuous improvement, 5S, World Class Manufacturing, safety, quality, and ISO standards initiatives.
Provide technical support to operations and maintenance team members.
Participate in rotating shifts, overtime, weekend coverage, and on-call support as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
57 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment; packaging or printing experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, bearings, gears, shafts, lubrication, hydraulics, pneumatics, motor controls, PLCs, and electrical systems (24VDC480VAC).
Ability to read schematics, troubleshoot automated equipment, and solve complex technical problems.
Proficient with maintenance software and basic computer applications.
Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift to 100 lbs.
Capable of prolonged standing, bending, climbing, kneeling, reaching, and other physical activities required in an industrial environment.
Additional Requirements
Ability to work rotating shifts as required.
Availability to work weekends and overtime as needed to support production demands.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work effectively and professionally in a team-oriented environment.
Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn and utilize company software systems.
