Maintenance Technician - Residential and Multifamily Real Estate

Summary & Objectives

Coastline Equity is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support residential and multifamily properties in San Pedro, California. This on-site role installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains residential units, common areas, and property systems while following safe and efficient maintenance practices.

Essential Functions

• Perform property renovations, unit turnovers, and routine maintenance.

• Handle electrical, plumbing, drywall, carpentry, and painting work.

• Troubleshoot and repair light fixtures, outlets, fans, garbage disposals, toilets, and other property equipment.

• Complete scheduled and emergency repairs, including on-call responsibilities.

• Conduct preventive maintenance and keep work areas safe and clean.

• Use hand and power tools, diagnostic meters, and AppFolio to manage work orders.

• Deliver professional customer service to residents and collaborate with vendors and team members.

Pay rate: $25.00–$29.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.

• Entry-level experience in one or two trades, maintenance, or renovation.

• Willingness to learn.

• Ability to lift and move materials, follow safety protocols, and manage multiple work orders.

• Clear communication and professionalism when working with residents and the team.

• Technical capacity, ethical conduct, initiative, and a focus on results.
