    Description

    Maintenance Technician ($25-45 hourly based off experience)

    Location: Riverside, CA

    Job Type: Full-time

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure safe and efficient operations. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform preventive maintenance on machinery, HVAC systems, electrical equipment, and facility infrastructure

    • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues promptly to minimize downtime

    • Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential problems and recommend repairs or replacements

    • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation in compliance with company policies

    • Follow safety protocols and comply with OSHA and other regulatory standards

    • Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance without disrupting operations

    • Assist in installation and commissioning of new equipment as needed

    • Respond to emergency repair requests in a timely and efficient manner

    • Keep work areas clean and organized

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training preferred

    • 2+ years experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role

    • Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems

    • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics

    • Familiarity with PLCs, HVAC systems, and industrial machinery is a plus

    • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

    • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

    • Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to after-hours emergencies if needed

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various physical positions (standing, kneeling, climbing ladders)

    • Comfortable working in confined spaces or at heights

    • Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (heat, cold, noise)
