Maintenance Technician (Field-Focused, Hands-On Role)
\nMOJO is building a team of car wash people who take pride in keeping things running.As a Maintenance Technician, your job is simple: Keep the car wash running. Fix what breaks. Prevent what you can.This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you’ll be working on equipment daily—not sitting behind a screen. \nWhat You’ll Be Doing
\nHands-On Maintenance & Repairs (Primary Focus)
\nDiagnose and repair equipment issues in real time
\nWork on motors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and controls
\nTroubleshoot problems quickly and get sites back up and running
\nHandle everything from small fixes to larger system repairs
\nPreventative Maintenance
\nPerform routine service to keep equipment running smoothly
\nCatch issues before they turn into downtime
\nFollow simple, effective maintenance routines (not overcomplicated checklists)
\nTroubleshooting & Problem Solving
\nIdentify root causes—not just quick fixes
\nThink on your feet when equipment goes down
\nMake decisions in the field to keep operations moving
\nTeam & Site Support
\nWork closely with site teams to keep everything operational
\nCommunicate clearly about issues and next steps
\nStep in where needed—this is a team-first environment
\nWhat This Job Feels Like
\nYou’re moving most of the day—this is not a sit-down role
\nYou’ll work indoors and outdoors, around active equipment
\nSome days are smooth. Some days everything breaks at once
\nYou’ll leave the day knowing exactly what you fixed
\nWhat We’re Looking For
\nStrong mechanical aptitude (you can take things apart and put them back together)
\nBasic electrical knowledge (low/high voltage, motor controls is a plus)
\nExperience with hydraulics, pneumatics, or industrial equipment preferred
\nWelding experience is a plus, not required
\nAble to troubleshoot under pressure without overthinking it
\nTakes ownership—you don’t wait to be told what to do

\nAll candidates considered for this position must submit a valid driver's license and successfully pass a company insurance review authorizing them to operate fleet vehicles. Insurance approval is required prior to the start date.
