Maintenance Technician

One of our manufacturing clients is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician with a strong electrical background to support maintenance and production operations in Rocky Ridge, UT

Pay Rate: $30.00 - $35.00/hour

Shift: Days

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical equipment

• Diagnose electrical faults and equipment failures to minimize production downtime

• Install, maintain, and repair motors, control panels, wiring, sensors, switches, and other electrical components

• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, VFDs, motor controls, and industrial automation systems

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and equipment manuals

• Perform electrical testing using appropriate meters and diagnostic equipment

• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, modifications, and improvement projects

• Conduct routine inspections and identify potential equipment issues before failures occur

• Complete maintenance work orders and accurately document repairs and inspections

• Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required

• Journeyman Electrician license, Journeyman electrical certification, or equivalent recognized electrical credential is required

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance or electrical maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, controls, motors, and electrical troubleshooting

• Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

• Experience with automated production equipment and industrial controls

• Knowledge of PLC programming or advanced PLC troubleshooting
