The Maintenance Technician is responsible for diagnosing issues with manufacturing equipment and performing necessary repairs. This role also includes general building maintenance and repairs.
Position Requirements:
Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment and systems
Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment
Carry out various plumbing and carpentry tasks
Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, digital voltmeters (DVM), and material handling equipment
Identify and resolve electrical issues as they arise
Qualifications:
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance processes
Previous experience working on manufacturing equipment such as CNC machines, welding machines, laser machines, press brakes, forklifts, etc. preferred
Critical thinking ability to troubleshoot and identify malfunctions
Knowledge of safety procedures and precautions
Preferred previous technical experience
Physical Demands:
Individual must be able to move, lift, carry up to 65lb.
Work environment includes exposure to humidity, heat, and cold in a warehouse setting
Must be willing and able to walk 4-5 miles per shift
