    We are looking for a Maintenance Technician who is a skilled professional responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks in a variety of settings, including industrial, commercial, and residential properties. Their primary role is to ensure that equipment and facilities are in good working order and to prevent any disruptions caused by equipment failure.

    Requirements:

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform regular checks and maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure they operate efficiently and safely. This includes tasks such as lubricating machinery, adjusting equipment settings, and replacing filters.
    • Diagnose and repair faults in machinery, equipment, and systems. This involves troubleshooting problems, replacing damaged parts, and performing necessary adjustments to restore functionality.
    • Assist in the installation of new machinery, equipment, and systems, ensuring they are correctly placed and functional before being put into operation.
    • Ensure that all maintenance and repair work is carried out in compliance with safety standards and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
    • Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair work, including what was done, the materials used, and the time taken. This information is crucial for planning future maintenance activities and for budgeting purposes.
    • Be available to respond to emergency repair needs outside of regular working hours, if required. This may involve fixing sudden breakdowns to minimize downtime and disruptions.
    • Work closely with other maintenance staff, as well as with production or facility managers, to prioritize maintenance tasks and ensure that work is completed efficiently.
    Qualifications:

    A high school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in a field related to maintenance technology (such as a vocational school or community college) is a plus.

    Certification in areas such as HVAC, electrical, or plumbing can be beneficial.

    Previous experience in maintenance work, which may include internships or apprenticeships, is often required.
