    Description

    Job Description
    Reviews service requests and assigns to appropriate employee for completion.
    Complete daily service requests
    Reviews the returned service request completion report to ensure all assigned service requests have been completed satisfactorily and timely.
    Establishes and maintains an inventory of parts, materials and supplies determining which items will be stocked and the appropriate amounts and which items will be purchased on an as needed basis.
    Record work performed on resident service requests accurately and in detail.
    Certifies the work performed by contractors is property completed prior to payment being issued.
    Performs maintenance and repairs in areas of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, painting and other building repairs.
    Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe working environment.

    Education and Experience
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills providing for effective communication with residents, prospects, employees, peers, vendors, owners, etc.
    Computer software experience to include MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and OneSite
    Basic understanding of Federal, State and local Fair Housing laws.

    License(s) or Certification(s) Preferred:
    HVAC
    CPO

    Required experience:
    General Maintenance – 2 years
    Previous Property Management Experience (preferred)

    Required education:
    High school or equivalent

    Physical:
    Constant sitting, walking, climbing and reaching
    Regular lifting and carrying of up to 80 pounds and, with assistance, up to 200 pounds
