Our client is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance and reliability of equipment within a specialized aerospace manufacturing environment.
This is a hands-on position ideal for a mechanically inclined maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, performing repairs, and keeping a manufacturing operation running safely and efficiently.
The Maintenance Technician will work closely with production and other members of the team to diagnose equipment issues, perform preventative maintenance, and repair or modify machinery and facility equipment as needed.
Position Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and machinery.
Perform preventative and routine maintenance to maximize equipment reliability.
Inspect equipment to identify mechanical issues and potential failures.
Repair, replace, rebuild, and adjust mechanical components.
Work with motors, pumps, conveyors, bearings, belts, gearboxes, and other mechanical systems.
Troubleshoot electrical and pneumatic equipment as needed.
Use hand tools, power tools, meters, and other maintenance equipment.
Perform welding, cutting, fabrication, and equipment modifications when required.
Read and interpret equipment manuals, drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
Assist with installation, relocation, and setup of manufacturing equipment.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and work quickly to minimize production downtime.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
Work with production and engineering teams to identify recurring equipment issues and improve reliability.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance area.
Follow all company safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned.
