Role Overview
The Maintenance Technician ensures the hotel remains
safe, functional, and guest-ready by handling repairs, maintenance, and facility operations.
This is a
hands-on technical role responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining building systems and responding to guest/service requests.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance for:
- HVAC
- Plumbing
- Electrical systems
- Respond to guest and staff maintenance requests quickly
- Troubleshoot and repair issues in:
- Guest rooms
- Public areas
- Back-of-house
- Maintain logs for:
- Repairs
- Inspections
- Inventory
- Assist with:
- Room turns
- Furniture moves
- Minor renovations
- Ensure safety and cleanliness of work areas
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed
Required Qualifications- Experience in hotel or commercial maintenance
- Knowledge of:
- HVAC
- Plumbing
- Electrical systems
- Ability to diagnose and resolve issues independently
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts
- Physical ability to lift, climb, and operate tools safely
