JOB SUMMARY

Assist in the overall maintenance of the Country Manor facility.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• High school diploma along with experience in areas of Maintenance.
• Current Low Pressure Special Class License or ability to obtain one.
• Knowledgeable in the basic operation and repair of various mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of tools, supplies, and techniques.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Skilled in oral and written communication.
• Current driver’s license.
• Ability to work effectively with staff from all departments and entities.
• Speak and writes English in an understandable manner.
• Reads and comprehends English.
• Willingness to obtain the Boiler Operations License- paid for by Country Manor.

• Demonstrates a great deal of patience, tact and consideration when dealing with tenants, residents, visitors, and community contacts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB/DEPARTMENTAL EXPECTATIONS

• Responsible for upkeep of premises of Country Manor
• Responsible for transporting nursing supplies. 
• Completes preventative maintenance as well as work orders.
• Assists maintenance in snow removal and lawn care.
• Responsible for turning over apartments as needed. 
• Assists in remodel of Apartments (painting, replacing light fixtures, handicap toilets, replace appliances.
• Assists in Nursing Home projects when assigned.
• Completes preventative maintenance on apartments.
• On call duties on a monthly rotation full week Thursday morning to Thursday morning.
• Works on specified holidays.
• All other duties as assigned.
