We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various types of equipment. This role requires a commitment to ensuring optimal performance and safety standards within our facility. The Maintenance Technician will also play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service while addressing maintenance needs.

Duties

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as an Ohmmeter.
  • Fabricate parts as needed to ensure equipment functionality.
  • Read and interpret schematics to diagnose problems effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance processes and procedures.
  • Utilize logic controllers for automated systems troubleshooting.
  • Execute welding tasks when necessary for repairs or fabrication.

Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Proficient in electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair.
  • Ability to read and understand technical schematics and blueprints.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Experience with logic controllers is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
