Maintenance Technician Jordan ProcessFull-TimeDental, Medical, Paid Time Off, Vision SCHEDULE:Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 5:00pm (1 hour unpaid lunch)After hours and weekend availability requiredSome holidays may be requiredSKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:High School DiplomaAt least 2 years prior experience in manufacturing maintenance role, with chemical processing Maintenance experience preferredCMRT or equivalent industrial maintenance certificationCertified Welder, or significant welding experienceExperience with CMMS system in GMP compliant food products facility preferredLock Out/Tag Out, Confined Space entry certificationComplex knowledge of tools/fittingIn-depth knowledge and experience with the following:Fluid pumps and fluid distribution systemsRefrigeration systemsElectric motors/controlsVarious transmitters for flow, temperature, pressure, etc.Root cause analysis and troubleshootingExperience with Forklift, heavy equipment operationAble to comprehend and command complex mechanical systems/componentsPhysical fitness: ability to lift excess of 50 lbs. or travel up and down stairs on a regular basis, and wear a full-face respirator on an as-needed basisPunctuality and safety consciousnessEnergetic, adaptable, and self-starting, with high capacity to learn new conceptsKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage, execute, and document preventative maintenance program in conjunction with CMMS softwareTroubleshoot and correct unanticipated equipment malfunction to minimize operational downtimeProcess and complete maintenance work orders submitted by production team or Maintenance Manager.Maintain inventory of wear parts/replacement parts and backup components, working with procurement department to ensure reorder upon use.Perform operational pre-checks prior to initiation of various processing lines.Coordinate with contractors and equipment vendors to optimize functionality of various equipment, as well as to schedule and host service personnel on site.Report daily to Maintenance Manager in writing regarding observations requiring critical attention, and suggestions for future protocols.Adhere to all company and site-specific safety/PPE requirements and codes of conductAdherence to cGMP guidelines for production of active pharmaceutical ingredients as it relates to hygiene, conduct, attire, and documentation practices.
