Role and Ideal Candidate:The primary focus is maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment. General building maintenance falls under Facilities not under maintenance.
We are looking for a hands-on, well-rounded technician with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Candidates do not need experience with every machine on-site, but they should be able to apply their knowledge across different equipment and explain specific examples of how they diagnosed and resolved problems.
Relevant equipment includes CNC machines, hydraulic presses, automated gantries, PLC-controlled equipment, sensors, welding machines, heat-treat ovens, thermal chambers, pumps, high-pressure air and gas systems, and industrial sewing machines. Preventive maintenance and CMMS experience are also relevant. The site uses HxGN EAM from Hexagon; experience with that specific platform was not identified as a requirement.
JOB DESIGNATION:
The Senior Maintenance Technician repairs, maintains, troubleshoots, and improves manufacturing equipment and facility systems in accordance with standard procedures, internal requirements, manufacturer's specifications, and safety policies. Performs advanced maintenance activities across multiple functions of the preventive and predictive maintenance system while providing technical leadership, equipment reliability support, and guidance to other maintenance personnel.
JOB CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
" Performs advanced maintenance service, troubleshooting, and repairs on assigned manufacturing equipment and facility systems
" Troubleshoots, inspects, repairs, rebuilds, replaces, and maintains complex mechanical and electromechanical systems and associated equipment including air compressors, air dryers, dehumidifiers, cooling towers, pumps, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and related production equipment
" Reads, interprets, and utilizes electrical schematics, control wiring diagrams, blueprints, technical drawings, and operational instructions to diagnose and resolve equipment failures
" Leads equipment troubleshooting efforts and performs root cause analysis to identify and implement corrective actions that improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime
" Administers and improves preventive and predictive maintenance programs and provides required reports, recommendations, and documentation
" Determines preventive maintenance requirements for new and existing equipment and trains equipment operators and maintenance personnel on proper maintenance practices
" Supports equipment installations, modifications, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, productivity, and equipment performance
" Provides technical support and guidance to maintenance staff and assists in developing maintenance procedures and best practices
" Maintains a safe and effective work environment and ensures compliance with all safety requirements, lockout/tagout procedures, and company policies
" Supports Facilities and Manufacturing Engineering functions as needed
" Other responsibilities as assigned
" Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s), and additional hours as necessary
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Education: A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations is required.
Certifications: Vocational training, apprenticeships, trade certifications, or equivalent experience in a related field.

Skills:
" Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems and equipment
" Advanced PLC troubleshooting and diagnostics experience
" Advanced ability to read and interpret schematics, control wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical documentation
" Experience rebuilding pumps, gearboxes, motors, compressors, and related production equipment
" Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions
" Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve complex equipment issues independently
" Experience operating forklifts, lifts, and other powered industrial equipment
