Maintenance Technician – Coral Springs, FL TEMP TO PERM OPPORTUNITY – Candidates who successfully adapt to the Company culture and performance expectations may be considered for full-time hire.Pay Rate: $28.00 – $30.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Shift: 1st Shift | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PMPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with a strong background in manufacturing or production environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting production lines and industrial equipment. This role is not suited for candidates whose experience is limited to apartment, residential, or building maintenance.Key ResponsibilitiesDepending on assignment, duties may include:
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on machinery, mechanical equipment, and facility systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and non-electrical equipment throughout the facility
  • Support installation of powered industrial equipment and production machinery
  • Assist with new construction, remodeling, and equipment installation projects within a manufacturing setting
  • Maintain logs for preventative maintenance and repair activities
  • Manage inventory of maintenance supplies, parts, and tools
  • Support staging and packaging of finished product for delivery
  • Assist with general production support tasks as needed
  • Work overtime as required to meet production and customer demands
  • Perform additional maintenance and facility-related tasks as assigned
Required Experience
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment strongly preferred
  • Experience working on production lines or industrial equipment required
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial setting
  • Residential or apartment maintenance experience alone will not be considered sufficient
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Ability to perform team lifts for items over 50 lbs when required
  • Must be able to stand, move, and work in a physically active environment throughout the shift
