Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex equipment while also mentoring junior technicians and leading maintenance projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance (PMs), including lubrication, adjustments, alignments, and safety checks
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Operate forklifts and lifting equipment (hoists, cranes, scissor lifts, etc.)
- Work with shop equipment such as lathes, mills, presses, and saws
- Diagnose issues with motion controls, sensors, and electrical systems
- Repair and overhaul components such as pumps, cylinders, valves, and motors
- Lead complex maintenance activities and assist with training junior technicians
- Maintain accurate documentation and complete work orders
- Prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced production environment
- Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of technical training OR 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and industrial equipment
- Experience with electrical systems, controls, and basic troubleshooting
- Prior Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) experience
- Ability to read schematics and technical documents
- Basic computer skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting or programming
- Background in HVAC, compressed air systems, dust collection, or electrical distribution
- Welding, machining, or fabrication experience
