Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Stokesdale, NC
Duration: 07 Months (Extension Possible)
Schedule: Mon – Fri; 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM EST
Pay Rate: $25/hr on W2
Responsibilities:
· Support production operations and lead complex maintenance activities.
· Perform preventive maintenance (lubrication, adjustments, repairs, safety checks).
· Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment with minimal supervision.
· Use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and shop equipment.
· Operate forklift and lifting equipment (hoists, cranes, scissor lifts, etc.).
· Read mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
· Handle basic electrical, mechanical, and motion control troubleshooting.
· Maintain clean, safe work area and follow OSHA safety standards.
· Complete paperwork accurately and mentor junior technicians.
Qualifications:
· 2 years technical training or 5+ years related experience.
· Strong skills in mechanical systems, electrical controls, electronics, or PLCs.
· Experience with HVAC, compressed air, dust collection, or electrical distribution.
· Lockout/Tagout experience and basic computer skills.
· Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
· Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple assignments.
