Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring to make sure they’re operating efficiently and make any needed repairs.
- Inspect homes for any structural damage to windows, doors, and walls and perform necessary repairs.
- Perform home repairs to include sheet rocking, painting, flooring, plumbing, and minor electrical.
- Outdoor Maintenance to include community landscaping, maintaining company structures, outdoor painting and power washing; Roofing, or under home repairs sometimes necessary.
- Submit record of work completed, and complete maintenance repair logs for equipment as needed.
- Participate in weekly safety meetings and maintain a safety-first approach.
- Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent
- At least 2 years of maintenance experience
- Ability to operate heavy equipment and a zero-turn mower.
- Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems
- Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques
- Available to be on call and respond to maintenance requests on nights and weekends
- Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
