General Maintenance Technicians work under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor; these duties consist of normally scheduled routine and preventive maintenance work, project work and facility set-ups. The General Maintenance Technician should have at least one (1) year in a Maintenance position, working in an institutional environment. A positive attitude and strong work ethic are also very important. Performance of job duties may require driving a Berkeley vehicle. If so, a current Florida driver’s license is required as well as acceptance by Berkeley Preparatory School’s automobile insurance company. Compensation and Benefits: The appointment is available immediately and is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position and eligible for full benefits. The compensation package will be very competitive nationally and commensurate with experience, certification attainment, and the national independent school and college markets.
