Job Title: Maintenance Technician - This is a 3rd shift opportunity


Job Description


We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with a focus on both mechanical and electrical systems. This role involves providing emergency and scheduled repairs of production equipment, ensuring smooth operations within our manufacturing facility.


Responsibilities


+ Perform mechanical troubleshooting and repair, focusing on packaging and production machines.

+ Inspect and test electrical equipment, including lighting, signal, communication, and power circuits.

+ Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs and electrical inputs, including AC/DC motors.

+ Conduct mechanical repairs on high-speed packaging equipment, conveyors, palletizers, vacuum seal equipment, and box erectors.

+ Own and utilize personal tools for maintenance tasks.

+ Install, repair, overhaul, modify, and maintain electrical and mechanical systems.

+ Replace defective parts such as gears, brushes, and armatures.

+ Diagnose and repair faulty mechanical and electrical components.

+ Complete preventive maintenance tasks.


Essential Skills


+ 4-5 years of experience as an industrial or manufacturing maintenance technician.

+ Mechanical aptitude and experience in a manufacturing environment.

+ Minor electrical experience and ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment.

+ Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting, particularly Allen Bradley.

+ Ability to read blueprints and schematics.


Additional Skills & Qualifications


+ Food manufacturing experience is a plus.

+ In-depth PLC knowledge, HDMI experience, and TIG welding experience are nice to have.

Work Environment


The work is conducted in a smaller manufacturing facility focused on salad dressing production. The environment is GMP regulated, with a team size of about 90 people. The position includes working third shift from Monday to Friday, 10 pm to 6:30 am, with training on day shift for 30-60 days. A collaborative and humble team mentality is essential for success in this role.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $64480.00 - $70720.00/yr.
