Title: Maintenance Technician

Shift: First Shift or Off-Shift (Facility is transitioning to a 2-2-3 schedule with 12-hour shifts running from 5:00 to 5:00 in August)

Salary: $32.00 to $34.00 per hour starting range, with a tier-based system allowing for increases up to $38.00 per hour based on verified skills

Operating out of a high-tech facility with automated robotics, we are expanding our technical team to support operational shift adjustments and ensure seamless production coverage. Maintenance Technician Role:

This role exists to provide essential breakdown support, mechanical troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance for automated robotic welding lines. The technician is responsible for keeping production machinery running efficiently and minimizing downtime across operational shifts.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

  • Respond to machinery breakdowns on the production floor, occupying approximately 75% to 85% of daily workflow during active production shifts
  • Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting for automated welded assembly lines
  • Execute critical preventative maintenance tasks, primarily during off-shifts when fewer machines are running
  • Work directly with Fanuc and Nachi robotic systems to resolve operational faults
  • Diagnose and repair faulty components to ensure continuous facility operational coverage
  • Maintain clear communication regarding equipment status and repair needs during shift handoffs
  • Follow all facility safety protocols while working around automated machinery

Maintenance Technician Reporting Relationships:

This position reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and does not have any direct reports.

About You:

  • Possess a strong balance of mechanical and electrical skills, with a heavy emphasis on the mechanical side
  • Bring verified experience working within the automotive or plastics manufacturing industries
  • Demonstrate a positive, trainable attitude with a desire for long-term career stability
  • Complete a basic electrical circuit test successfully as part of the onboarding assessment
  • Show comfort troubleshooting automated equipment, specifically Fanuc and Nachi robots
  • Maintain an interest in advancing into future leadership positions, such as a team leader or supervisor role
