Maintenance Technician

Are you a hands-on problem solver who enjoys working with equipment, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and keeping a facility running safely and efficiently? Schedule:

Swing Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM-11:00 PM

Every other weekend: Plant checks

Training:

You will work day shift for the first few months to complete training and get familiar with the facility before transitioning to the regular swing shift.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on facility equipment, machinery, and building systems
• Maintain and repair mechanical and electrical equipment to keep operations running safely and reliably
• Troubleshoot sensors, switches, push buttons, and other automated equipment
• Perform basic inspections and repairs on refrigeration systems
• Complete preventative maintenance on material handling equipment, including conveyors and other powered equipment
• Use hand and power tools to diagnose and repair equipment
• Use welding equipment and cutting tools when needed
• Operate lifts and other equipment to safely access and maintain equipment at heights
• Document maintenance, inspections, and repairs in the appropriate systems
• Communicate equipment issues and maintenance needs to facility leadership
• Follow all company and regulatory safety standards

What We're Looking For

• At least 1 year of maintenance experience or trade school experience, preferably in mechanical, building, MHE, or refrigeration maintenance
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Able to troubleshoot equipment and perform preventative maintenance with minimal supervision
• Basic computer skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable working at heights and using lifts or other equipment to access elevated areas
• Comfortable working in cold storage environments that can reach -20°F, with company-provided PPE and freezer gear
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Willing to work the required weekend rotation
• Comfortable working in environments with varying noise levels
