Maintenance Technician

Facilities Maintenance Technician (480V Electrical / HVAC / Plumbing)
Schedule: Friday - Sunday - 5:00am - 5:30pm
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour (DOE)

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the operation and maintenance of facility systems. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on 480-volt electrical systems, HVAC equipment, plumbing systems, and general facility infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude and experience working in an industrial or commercial maintenance environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair 480V electrical systems, motors, starters, breakers, and control circuits.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems, including rooftop units, air handlers, compressors, and related controls.
Maintain and repair plumbing systems, including fixtures, valves, water lines, drains, and pumps.
Conduct routine inspections of facility equipment and building systems.
Read and interpret electrical, plumbing, and mechanical schematics and blueprints.
Complete work orders and document maintenance activities.
Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
Assist with facility improvement projects and general building maintenance.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and facility repair needs as required.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
2+ years of facilities, industrial, or commercial maintenance experience preferred.
Experience working with 480V electrical systems.
HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting experience required.
Plumbing maintenance and repair experience required.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications
EPA Certification
HVAC Certification
Electrical or Maintenance Trade School Training
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification

Physical Requirements
Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb.
Lift up to 50 pounds.
Work in varying temperatures and manufacturing/facility environments.
