    Description

    Job Summary:

    This position is responsible for performing routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repairs throughout the facility.

    Maintains attitudes and behaviors that demonstrate and uphold the Mission Statement of Trinity Woods (TW), supports the TW core values, and shows an understanding of TW’s person-centered philosophy.

    Job Requirements:

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
    • Licensed Journeyman
    • Advanced knowledge of HVAC and electrical systems operations
    • Knowledge of basic plumbing fundamental and repair
    • Advanced knowledge of building controls
    • Knowledge of basic carpentry and repair
    • Strong planning and organizational skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Minimum computer knowledge
    • Ability to work independently

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for maintaining the day-to-day operational and mechanical functions of the facility
    • Perform maintenance duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager
    • Adjust and repair Heath Center and Assisted Living equipment. e., which includes wheelchairs, beds, and walkers
    • Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and make adjustments on HVAC equipment
    • Performs a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions
    • Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required
    • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
    • Fix potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
    • Performing routine maintenance such as fixing windows, doors, or wall repairs
    • Make minor plumbing and electrical repairs
    • On call as assigned
    • Other duties as assigned
