Job Summary:
This position is responsible for performing routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repairs throughout the facility.

Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Licensed Journeyman
- Advanced knowledge of HVAC and electrical systems operations
- Knowledge of basic plumbing fundamental and repair
- Advanced knowledge of building controls
- Knowledge of basic carpentry and repair
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Minimum computer knowledge
- Ability to work independently
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining the day-to-day operational and mechanical functions of the facility
- Perform maintenance duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager
- Adjust and repair Heath Center and Assisted Living equipment. e., which includes wheelchairs, beds, and walkers
- Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and make adjustments on HVAC equipment
- Performs a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions
- Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
- Fix potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
- Performing routine maintenance such as fixing windows, doors, or wall repairs
- Make minor plumbing and electrical repairs
- On call as assigned
