Maintenance Technician

About the position: Manufacturing facility in the Vance, AL area seeking qualified Maintenance Tech.  In this role, candidate's main responsibility is installation, repair, and general maintenance of plant equipment and machinery.  This is a temporary position on a 1st shift.  Competitive pay and bonus opportunity.

Responsibilities include:

• Install and maintain plant equipment and machinery.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and identify equipment issues and repair as needed.
• Follow work procedures and instructions in regard to maintenance and repairs.
• • Painting
  • Drilling holes in concrete floor and installing guardrail
  • Layout taping
  • Hanging signs/labels
  • Other general labor activities

   

Qualifications:

• • General maintenance experience of 2 years preferred
  • Ability to use basic power tools (Drills, saws, etc.)
  • They do not need forklift experience, and they will not be expected to operate one.
  • Typical lifting and physical capabilities (Sequence "Heavy Lifter")
  • Flexibility to work weekends when requested by management.
