Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs electrical and mechanical maintenance on old and new machines, plus maintenance of pneumatic & hydraulic systems
Ability to read electrical diagram for troubleshooting
Familiarity with p.m. programs (identify, documentation, procedures)
Able to work in cold or hot conditions while maintaining a safe work environment
Ability to take instruction with a ‘can do’ attitude, but willing to ask questions as needed
Qualification & Education Requirements:
Associate’s degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electricity, or HVAC preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
Experience – Relevant or similar experience preferred.
Good written and verbal communication.
Analytical Skills – Ability to read a plan and have the mental acuity to discern the proper procedure to follow for each unit.
Well-developed communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to work safely, follow all safety rules and lead by example.
Must be able to maintain good and regular attendance.
Must be available for mandatory overtime.
Further Requirements:
Knowledge of Control systems
Electrical experience
Ability to weld
Knowledge of different gases for welding/air compressors/cooling systems
