Position Summary
An established manufacturing company is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, modify, and maintain production equipment, machinery, lift trucks, and facility systems.
This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced, physically demanding manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Lubricate machinery, replace filters, and inspect equipment condition
- Diagnose equipment problems and complete repairs to minimize downtime
- Service and repair lift trucks and skid-steer loaders
- Perform basic building maintenance, including lighting, doors, and general facility repairs
- Complete basic welding and fabrication work as needed
- Maintain accurate records of completed maintenance and repairs
- Support production by responding promptly to equipment issues
- Follow all company safety and maintenance procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of mechanical or industrial maintenance experience
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment
- Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read electrical prints and troubleshoot basic electrical systems
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
- Welding or fabrication experience
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physical environment
Preferred Experience
- Lift-truck or skid-steer repair experience
- Foundry equipment experience, including sand machines, shakeout systems, furnaces, or sand-transport systems
- At least one year of electrical wiring experience
- Experience performing facility and building maintenance
Position Details
- Full-time position
- Eight- to ten-hour shifts, five days per week
- Saturday availability required as needed
