Essential Job Functions:
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for highly diversified duties including:
- Maintain production machines and facility equipment
- Provide repairs of equipment during production and maintain machine services
- Offer mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machinery
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and schematics
- Diagnose problems, replace and repair parts, and test and make any necessary adjustments to equipment when needed
- Perform regular preventative maintenance on machine, equipment and plant facilities
- Operate a variety of hand and power tool, electric meters and material handling equipment
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work environment
- Perform all other duties assigned or needed
Qualifications:
- Effective oral communication
- Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred
- High school diploma/GED
- IICRC certifications preferred
Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
- Previous experience in machinery or related fields
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment
- Must be able to life/move objects that weigh up to 50lbs unassisted
- Reliable mode of transportation
- Drive a forklift
- Ability to transport large commercial trailers
- Adheres to all safety procedures and guidelines
- Ability to travel locally and out of state as necessary
- Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
- Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Exposure to chemicals
- Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing,
- Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
- Ability to work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces under buildings)
- Repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects
