Basic Job Functions:

Altenloh, Brinck & Co. US, Inc. manufactures and distributes engineered fasteners under the SPAX® brand for the construction market, TRUFAST® for the commercial roofing industry and TRUFASTWalls® for exterior building envelopes and facades. Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing routine maintenance procedures and helping troubleshoot and quickly repair any mechanical or electrical problems should they arise with the manufacturing processes and supporting equipment and systems in the facility. They are also responsible for installation, fabrication, and advanced trouble shooting of mechanical and electrical equipment and systems.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Under limited supervision and with minimal technical guidance, keep plant machinery and mechanical equipment in good repair
  2. Installation maintenance and repair of production or processing equipment
  3. May fabricate machine guards, install, or repair conveyors, replace motors, tear down or replace pumps, maintain fluid collection or distribution equipment repair electro-mechanical equipment
  4. Preform advanced troubleshooting, work with general supervision may provide work training to less experienced maintenance staff.
  5. Under limited supervision and with minimal to no technical guidance, keep plant machinery and mechanical equipment in good repair.
  6. Examines machines to diagnose trouble, dismantles machines, replaces defective parts, reassembles machines, and makes necessary adjustments to ensure efficient operation.
  7. Have PM interaction and knowledge.
  8. Have a valid driver’s license and clean record.
