We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician / Facilities Maintenance Technician responsible for coordinating repairs, scheduling preventive maintenance, and performing hands-on maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, and facility equipment. This role supports production by ensuring all equipment and building systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably.
The ideal candidate is self-directed, able to follow instructions with minimal supervision, and experienced in mechanical maintenance, welding, and basic electrical systems (120480V). Candidates must be willing to complete in-house CAT-certified welder testing and CAT 7STWE training.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform all assigned maintenance, repair, and facility improvement tasks safely and efficiently
Coordinate and schedule repairs and preventive maintenance for mechanical and facility equipment
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and plant equipment
Replace motors and mechanical components as needed
Move, set, and align machinery and equipment
Perform general facility maintenance, including:
Press brakes
Levelers
Hoists
Conveyors
Paint department equipment
Restroom fixtures
Lighting fixtures
Organize and maintain prints, schematics, repair manuals, and parts documentation
Order parts and maintain inventory of frequently used and critical spare parts
Use hand tools and diagnostic equipment, including multimeters
Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and reliability in daily maintenance operations
Perform all other duties as assigned by supervision
Training & Development
Required to pass CAT Certified Welder Test (in-house)
Required to complete CAT 7STWE training (in-house)
Will be trained to perform maintenance on:
CO2 Lasers
Robot Welders
Required Qualifications
Proven experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical maintenance, or facilities maintenance
Welding experience required
Basic electrical knowledge, including 120V480V systems
Ability to read and follow instructions, prints, and schematics
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Must have basic hand tools, a multimeter, and knowledge of proper use
Reliable transportation and availability for last-minute shift changes if needed
Work Schedule & Availability
Must be able to work all three shifts as needed.
Must be willing to work overtime as required (temporary or extended periods)
Ability to travel for training if offered
