Maintenance Technician Help keep production running at its best. As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll maintain, troubleshoot, and repair machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Your work will help prevent breakdowns, reduce downtime, and keep equipment operating safely and accurately. We’re looking for someone with strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach. What you’ll do - Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, including inspecting, cleaning, and lubricating equipment and replacing worn or damaged parts.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, identify their root causes, and complete repairs and adjustments promptly.
- Calibrate and align machinery to support precision and accuracy in production.
- Respond to breakdowns and emergencies, working with production supervisors to prioritize issues that affect operations.
- Partner with production teams to address equipment performance concerns, deviations from specifications, and quality issues.
- Keep accurate maintenance records, including work completed, parts used, and service dates. Report equipment status, upcoming maintenance needs, and improvement recommendations.
- Follow safety procedures, report hazards, and participate in safety meetings and training.
- Share knowledge and coordinate work with other maintenance technicians and departments. Communicate with machine operators to understand equipment issues.
Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant trade school education preferred.
- FANUC CNC maintenance certification preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience as a maintenance technician in a machine shop or similar environment.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Familiarity with maintenance tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail, self-motivation, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive, fast-paced team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency situations.
- Commitment to safety practices and protocols.
Physical requirements The role requires safely navigating a manufacturing environment; sitting and using a computer for extended periods; bending, kneeling, and climbing; good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity; and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds.
