Maintenance Technician

Troubleshoot, maintain and repair vacuum deposition systems and support equipment. Perform preventative maintenance tasks to schedule and update database upon completion. Build and assemble mechanical equipment, designed in-house in cooperation with design engineers. Work with colleagues to explain, educate and make recommendations to customer (Process Engineer & Technicians) and department members on design flaws, repetitive symptoms and helps provide solutions. Apply general mechanical rules & theory to specific problems, to produce mechanically sound solutions. Develop the breadth of experience and adaptability to make contributions outside the prime area of responsibility. Responsible for general cleanup and ensures safety procedures, including proper disposal of specific fluids and solvents
