Pro Resources is seeking 2nd and 3rd Shift Maintenance Technicians for a client in Winamac, IN. We’re looking for skilled and dependable Maintenance Technicians to join a growing team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position plays a key role in keeping equipment, machinery, and production lines running efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, mechanical and electrical experience, and a proactive approach to preventative maintenance. Shift and Compensation 
  • 2nd Shift 3 PM-11 PM 3rd Shift 11 PM-7 AM
  • Pay : $27.70 / hour
Job Duties
  • Perform preventive, predictive, and proactive maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot breakdowns and get to the root cause—not just a quick fix.
  • Lead Five Whys investigations on repeat issues; document findings, update PMs, and verify results.
  • Install and improve equipment and systems.
  • Inspect, test, and repair machinery (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic).
  • Work with automation: robots, controllers, and advanced systems.
  • Fabricate and repair parts using shop tools (lathe, grinder, drill, milling).
  • Keep things running smoothly with regular cleaning, lubrication, and adjustments.
  • Pitch in on other projects as needed—you won’t get bored here.
  • Will handle regular maintenance of the mill as well as facilities maintenance.
  • Must field calls after work hours and be on call for issues.
Background Profile
  • High school diploma or GED (required).
  • 2-year technical degree (preferred, not a dealbreaker).
  • 5+ years hands-on maintenance experience (preferred).
  • Strong troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Boiler/steam and lubrication experience (a plus).
  • Basic computer skills and CMMS comfort.
  • Critical thinker who uses data and Five Whys to drive permanent fixes.
  • Responsible and accountable, you own your work and close the loop.
