Responsibilities

As a Permanent Maintenance Tech, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks and duties including:

1. Performing routine and preventative maintenance on a variety of machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
2. Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues with mills, lathes, CNC machines, and other equipment.
3. Troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime.
4. Collaborating with other team members to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
5. Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
6. Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
7. Assisting in the training and development of junior team members.
8. Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in machine maintenance and repair.

Qualifications

To be considered for this exciting role, you must meet the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, specifically with machine maintenance and repair.
2. Proven experience with mechanical maintenance, particularly with mills, lathes, and CNC machine repair.
3. Strong technical skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues.
4. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
5. The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. A commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
8. A willingness to continue learning and developing new skills.
9. A high school diploma or equivalent. A degree in a related field or professional certification would be an asset.
