We are seeking experienced, dynamic, and motivated Permanent Maintenance Technicians to join our team. This role involves working on multiple shifts within our cutting-edge Engineering industry. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting our advanced industrial machines, ensuring their optimal performance and longevity. The role requires an individual with a strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and a knack for working with various mechanical components such as pumps, motors, bearings, and gears.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments to ensure machines are operating at their peak performance.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Interpret schematics and technical drawings to perform equipment repairs effectively.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required and troubleshoot malfunctions to identify and rectify issues.
• Assist in the development and implementation of ISO standards within the manufacturing environment.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting modifications to equipment to improve safety, quality, and machine operation.
• Work collaboratively with team members to enhance overall productivity and ensure maintenance tasks are completed in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within the Engineering or Manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience as a maintenance technician with a strong understanding of industrial machines, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Familiarity with mechanical components such as pumps, motors, bearings, and gears.
• Proficiency in interpreting and working from schematics and technical drawings.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
• Knowledge and experience with ISO standards in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to machine maintenance and repair.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work on multiple shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• A relevant certification or degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is preferred.
