Job Summary: Under direction, to perform highly skilled work in installing, repairing, testing, and maintaining fire alarm and intrusion alarm systems. To perform semiskilled and skilled duties in other maintenance trade areas and to do other related work as required or assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two (2) years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm and intrusion alarm systems
  • Fire Alarm Technician Certification
  • Effective October 1, 2024: If you have an AA, Bachelors, or Masters degree, you must also attach a copy of your high school diploma or equivalent. A college degree cannot be submitted in lieu of a high school diploma unless your official college transcript clearly displays your high school graduation date and the name of the high school from which you graduated.

Certification: Valid Fire Alarm Technician Certification Proof of HS Graduation: high school diploma, official transcripts, or equivalent
