Maintenance

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on injection molding

machines (hydraulic, electric, and hybrid), molds, and related auxiliary equipment.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control

system issues.

• Maintain and service material handling systems, dryers, loaders, chillers, temperature

controllers, and conveyors.

• Assist with mold changes, setup support, and machine startups as needed.
• Diagnose equipment failures, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions

to prevent recurrence.

• Read, interpret, and follow mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, hydraulic

diagrams, and technical manuals.

• Perform basic electrical work including sensors, motor starters, relays, VFDs, and

control panels (within scope of qualification).

• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and spare parts usage in the

CMMS.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability, uptime, and

safety.

• Ensure compliance with company safety policies, OSHA regulations, lockout/tagout

procedures, and housekeeping standards.

• Communicate effectively with production, quality, engineering, and management teams

to minimize downtime.

• Assist with facility maintenance including lighting, compressed air systems, water

systems, and general repairs.

• Respond to equipment breakdowns during production, including overtime or on-call

support as required.
