Description

Supports operation of commercial\industrial facilities as per client’s directive. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: General building maintenance, equipment management and troubleshooting activities, general mechanical repair and maintenance, equipment control tasks, preventive maintenance, various process controls and oversight. General record keeping and reporting where required.

Job Responsibilities

· VALID DRIVERS LICENSE

· ABILITY TO STAND FOR PROLONGED PERIODS OF TIME

· ABILITY TO LIFT 50+ LBS. SAFELY

· RESPONDS TO REPAIR & MAINTENANCE REQUESTS IN A TIMELY FASHION

· FOLLOWS WRITTEN & VERBAL INSTRUCTIONS FROM MANAGEMENT

· ABILITY TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY

· GENERAL COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE

· EFFECTIVE & PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATION

· ABILITY TO WORK AT HEIGHTS OF 4’+

· SAFELY OPERATE EQUIPMENT (NOT LIMITED TO): FORKLIFT, TOOL CAT, SCISSOR LIFT, RIDING FLOOR SCRUBBERS, ETC.

· USE EQUIPMENT PROFICIENTLY (NOT LIMITED TO): POWER TOOLS, HAND TOOLS, ELECTRIC TOOLS AND PLUMBING TOOLS.

· POSSESS GENERAL KNOWLEDGE OF COMMERCIAL\INDUSTRIAL BUILDING AND GROUNDS MAINTENANCE (NOT LIMITED TO): DOORS & LOCKS, SIGN MAKING, SPACKLING, PAINTING, FENCE REPAIR, AIR HOSES AND SPRAYERS, POTHOLE REPAIR, ETC.

· EXPERIENCE WITH WORK ORDER SYSTEMS A PLUS
