Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team at CELC. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with excellent customer service skills and a strong work ethic. Fluency in English is essential for communication and reporting purposes. A background in commercial building operations, including HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems, as well as housekeeping, is highly desirable.

Our Maintenance Worker will be responsible for performing general maintenance repairs, including carpentry, floor repairs, minor plumbing and electrical work, painting and plaster repairs, minor glazing, light bulb and fluorescent tube replacement, and other related tasks. They will also assist the building maintenance staff with physical labor and emergency repairs, such as snow removal and equipment cleaning. Additionally, the Maintenance Worker will provide written reports to the Owner/Director on building activities and deficiencies, recommending corrective action where necessary.

• 3+ years general maintenance experience
• High school or equivalent

While not essential, experience with pest control, cleaning, landscaping, and snow removal services would be an asset in this role.
