Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Performs general landscaping duties, including mowing, trimming, edging, sod work, seeding, and watering for greens, parks, and assigned facilitiesMaintains trees and planting areas, which involves planting, pruning, pest control, fertilizing, and weed and vegetation removal as neededOperates and maintains assigned irrigation systems and ornamental fountainsEnsures cleanliness of grounds by removing ground litter and properly disposing of trash from containers on a timely schedulePerforms janitorial services to clean and maintain park restroomsCompletes required daily paperwork for the departmentFollows City policies, procedures, and safety guidelinesPerforms other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalentOne (1) year of experience in maintenance or operating related equipment

Certifications and Licenses

Valid driver's license
