    YOUR ROLE AND IMPACT

    As the Maintenance Worker II, you will:

    • Perform routine park and natural area maintenance, including boardwalk and trail upkeep and facility care.
    • Assist with native habitat restoration and invasive plant removal.
    • Maintain gardens, grounds, and landscaped areas.
    • Help facilitate programs, events, and services for visitors.
    • Help the maintenance TEAM complete maintenance and minor repairs to park amenities.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    This position requires qualified applicants to possess the following:

    • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in laboring work, providing a familiarity with refuse collection, general custodial work, or landscape/natural area maintenance.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    Preferred qualifications include:

    • Experience working in an environmentally sensitive area or wildlife park,
    • Experience maintaining and performing minor repairs on boardwalks,
    • Knowledge of landscape maintenance work, and
    • Valid First Aid Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Certification.
