Key Responsibilities:
Timely and effective repair of plant mechanical systems.
Must be able to troubleshoot, repair or replace most if not all of the following items.
Perform basic PM's such as equipment checklists, lubrication, pressure/vacuum diagnostics, various testing analytics, inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing other preventive maintenance actions.
Repair machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, hydraulic bearing press, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments.
Prompt storage of received stock items and notifying the supervisor when low stock is observed.
Maintain a clean work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Perform tasks requiring hot work and vessel entry permits.
Stay current on all assigned training modules and must observe all company safety policies and procedures.
Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
Required
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
3 years of experience working in a trade or are in possession of a trade degree.
