Schedule: 7 AM - 3 PM Monday - Friday

Are you a hands-on problem-solver who takes pride in keeping spaces safe, functional, and looking their best? We’re looking for a dedicated level 1 Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep of our campus facilities. Reporting to the Maintenance Director, you’ll handle a variety of general maintenance tasks—including painting, some plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, landscaping, and overall building repairs. This role requires quick thinking, a strong sense of responsibility, and the flexibility to occasionally respond outside of standard business hours. Responsibilities:

 

  • Perform a wide range of facility maintenance tasks including painting, drywall repair, lighting, electrical, plumbing, glazing, carpentry (framing and trim), and flooring installation.
  • Handle routine groundskeeping duties such as mowing, weed eating, snow removal, and general landscaping across all properties.
  • Complete scheduled and seasonal maintenance including HVAC and furnace filter changes, water heater upkeep, floor care (buffing and waxing), and minor vehicle maintenance.
  • Conduct regular property walk-throughs to identify maintenance needs, ensure safety compliance, and complete work orders promptly.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize tasks, manage materials, attend required trainings and meetings, and be available for on-call responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:

 

  • Skilled in general handyman work with at least 5 years of professional maintenance experience
    • Experience in Residential Construction/ Maintenance strongly preferred
  • Creative problem-solver who can think outside the box and work collaboratively
  • Physically capable of being on their feet all day, including climbing stairs and performing hands-on tasks
  • Eager to learn and grow in a dynamic maintenance environment
  • Must have valid Driver license and live within a 45-mile radius of the campus
  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Ability to pass a federal background check, physical, and drug screening
