Penmac Staffing is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a full-time opportunity in the Lebanon area. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, troubleshooting maintenance issues, and helping maintain safe, quality housing facilities. The Maintenance Technician will perform a variety of maintenance, repair, groundskeeping, and unit turnover duties while ensuring compliance with safety and housing standards.
Pay & Schedule- $18.00 per hour
- Full-time
- Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:30 PM
- On-call rotation required every other weekend or every third weekend, depending on staffing needs
- Must be available for occasional after-hours emergency calls
Requirements - Valid Missouri driver's license
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance practices
- Ability to operate lawn and groundskeeping equipment
- Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen
- Criminal background check required
- Ability to lift, carry, bend, climb, and perform physical work throughout the shift
Responsibilities- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical, plumbing, heating, and air conditioning systems
- Complete routine, preventive, and emergency work orders in a timely manner
- Prepare vacant units for new occupants, including painting, cleaning, minor repairs, appliance cleaning, floor care, and trash removal
- Perform groundskeeping duties such as mowing, edging, weed trimming, and property cleanup
- Conduct pest control activities as assigned
- Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment
- Assist with special maintenance projects and property improvements
- Monitor work completed by outside vendors and contractors when assigned
- Inspect apartments and facilities to help ensure compliance with housing, safety, sanitation, and security standards
- Change furnace filters, test smoke alarms, and inspect emergency equipment
- Report property concerns, damages, safety issues, and other maintenance-related observations to management
- Respond to after-hours and weekend emergency maintenance calls as part of the on-call rotation
