Title: Maintenance Worker

Qualifications:

Qualified applicants should possess:

  • Possess those characteristics which will promote success in fulfilling the job goals.
  • High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Demonstrated competency in the following ability and skill areas: mathematics, analysis, accuracy with speed and attention to detail, computers, and keyboarding.
  • Demonstrated competency performing installation, maintenance, and repair in a minimum of two of the following:

o Electrical

o Mechanical

o Plumbing

o HVAC

o Carpentry

  • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and facility specifications manuals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two (2) years of Vocational/Technical degree in maintenance related areas preferred.

Job Description: To provide students and the community with a safe, attractive, comfortable, clean and efficient place in which to learn, play and develop. Assists other maintenance/custodial employees as needed.

Reports To: Director of Facility Services

Employment Terms: This is a 12-month position for 8 hours per day, approximately 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Salary, benefits and Employment Terms per the Employee Handbook.
